Taiwanese smartphone maker Asus launched it’s another smartphone Zenfone Max M2 which is a quite refinement from previous Zenfone Max M1 in terms of Performance and Design.

Design and Build Quality
The Asus Zenfone Max M2 comes with a curved edges which makes the phone easy to hold.
The frame is made up plastic and metal panel on the rear. The Power and volume buttons are situated at right while SIM tray at the left. Zenfone Max M2 comes with Micro-USB port. You can find 3.5 mm jack, Micro-USB and Speakers at the bottom. Zenfone Max M2 sports a dual camera setup at the rear along with LED flash.
The Fingerprint sensor is located at the center and is easy to reach.
Notch on display is slightly unique as it carries a front camera, LED flash, proximity sensor, light sensor, notification LED at very little space. The earpiece is situated just above the notch.
Moving on, Asus has stretched the display from 5.45-inches to 6.25-inches in the Max M2. It is a 1080p+ panel which has 720 x 1520 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The display claims to offer 94-percent wider color gamut and 450 nits brightness.
Zenfone Max M2 has one of the finest IPS LCD panels in this price range. The whites are close to neutral (there is still an option to switch to warmer color tones), the colors are vibrant, and contrast is high. The brightness levels are in line with the industry standard in this price range.
Asus Zenfone Max M2 runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and it is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 632 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU and runs on Stock Android. It offers quick performance thanks to its processor.
We didn’t find any lag or fluctuation in its performance at the time of usage. We played PUBG for 2 hrs with High Graphics and it performed very well. On Geekbench, Max M2 got scores of 1,248 for single-core and 4,580 for multi-core.
Asus Zenfone M2 sports a dual camera setup at the rear along with the LED flash, the setup is placed in one row with flash.
It comes with 13 Megapixel rear camera eatures electronic stabilisation and an f/1.8 aperture along with 2 Megapixel depth sensor and a single LED flash. The front camera has an 8-megapixel sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
The 4000mAh battery on the phone can comfortably last for more than a day or a day and a half. Heavy users shouldn’t have any problem lasting throughout the day. Asus mentions that the phone supports fast charging, but it takes around two and a half hours to completely charge the phone – which is kind of slow.

Zenfone Max M2 is one of those phones that we can heartily recommend if battery backup is your primary priority, good performance, decent cameras, and reasonable pricing, then you should definitely go with it.
